Added Measures for COVID-19 Outbreak:

Our staff is entering and cleaning the home with gloves and masks on at all times. We are cleaning with medical-grade disinfectants and following CDC guidelines. To give you some peace of mind while you are staying in Colton Hideaway. Our regular cleaning is a deep clean every time; we also replace all linens, bedspreads, blankets, towels, mats, and small rugs. Now, since the COVID 19 outbreak, we are also going behind our cleaning team, disinfecting every touchable surface with alcohol as well as spraying the couch and large rugs with Odoban. It is an environmentally friendly hospital-grade disinfectant that has a slight lavender smell. We hope this can give you some peace of mind during your stay. If you have any other questions about our cleaning practices, do not hesitate to ask.

MASTER BEDROOM

Located on the first floor off of the living room, is the spacious Master bedroom. You will enjoy the luxurious adjustable king size bed and the flat-screen TV. The decor and comfortable, easy chairs in tropical Caribbean blue colors make this a calming retreat. There is plenty of space for your clothes in the large dresser and walk-in closet. You'll love this fantastic Master bedroom, and will feel right at home!

UPSTAIRS LEFT BEDROOM

You will wake up to stunning lake views in this bedroom with a queen-size bed and a large closet with shelves. This room enters onto the second-floor balcony. The expansive panoramic views from this vantage point are unsurpassed! Enjoy this balcony with spectacular views that will give you the "away from it all lake life feel."

UPSTAIRS RIGHT BEDROOM

This is the bunk room designed to sleep, 4 people. The bunk bed has a full-size bed on the bottom, a twin on top, and a trundle twin bed under it to be hidden while not using to give you so much more room for activities! The views from this room and the balcony are also dramatic. However, the balcony door is key-locked to ensure only adult-accompanied children are on the balcony. This room also has all of the games in the house. We provide lots of indoor and outdoor activities!

LIVING ROOM

As you walk through the door, you will feel an immediate sense of calm...that you are at the lake. The large comfortable sofa, chairs, and bench offer seating for up to 8 people. It's a great space for a family to gather to play games or have a movie night. Enjoy a movie or your favorite TV shows on Netflix or Hulu on the smart TV.

KITCHEN

This combined kitchen and dinning area is fully equipped with full-sized appliances. The table seats up to 5 with gorgeous views of the lake and the bar seats 3. However, you might choose to dine alfresco and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Have a delicious home-cooked meal with your family and friends while gazing at the gorgeous turquoise waters of Canyon Lake!

DECK/ BALCONY/BACKYARD/GRILL

There is an upper balcony and a lower deck. You walk out on the lower deck from the kitchen. We have an amazing dining table for your family to enjoy a meal outside. Covered for comfort, it still has great views of the gorgeous blue water. The upper balcony is accessed by the upper bedrooms and has expansive views of the lake. Sit and relax up here, enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise or enjoy a glass of wine in the shade of the afternoon. If you are from the city, night time is special here. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous night sky lit up with stars, planets, and meteorites. It's a peaceful, amazing sight!

BACKYARD/GRILL

Down the steps from the deck is the flagstone patio grilling area. Enjoy grilling with your family and friends in the shade on a new propane grill. Or play corn hole or other games in the open backyard.

The property does have a path down to the water and a pebble beach. Here you can watch the waves lap at the shore, wade into the water or throw a fishing line.

However, this is a challenging hike, so we recommend it only to experienced and healthy people/hikers. There are also other places to access the water, which might be easier.

BATHROOMS

MASTER BATHROOM

What a super Master bath with his/her separate sinks, making getting ready easy. There is a separate shower and bathtub so everyone can get clean at the same time. The large soaking bathtub is perfect for the much-needed relaxation after a long day of fun on the lake!

UPSTAIRS BATHROOM

There is a shared bathroom between the two upstairs bedrooms. This bathroom has a large sink area and a well-sized shower/ bath combo.
