‘Emilia Hideaway’ is a modern open concept one bedroom with a loft, tiny home. Texas midcentury modern hideaway. On the NorthEast side of Canyon Lake, it is ideally located less than a mile between the lake and river. In the heart of the hill country yet an hour away from Austin, San Antonio, and Fredericksburg. Around the corner from the dam and spillway with gorgeous views, hiking, tubing, and fishing. Bring the whole family with something for everyone.
THE SPACE
BEDROOMS
Two sleeping areas. It is an open concept studio with a queen-sized bed on the main floor and two twin beds in a loft. Sleeps 4 comfortably.
LIVING ROOM
In between the bed and the dining area, we have a fantastic comfortable loveseat with a USB phone charging port. We provide a cord for you to use while you stay. We have a flat-screen tv that swivels so you can watch anywhere in the house.
KITCHEN
This open concept kitchen is fully equipped with full-sized appliances. Have a beautiful home-cooked meal with your family and friends.
Porch and Gazebo
Large porch to relax under an arbor with comfortable seating. The privacy wall is there to make the space as private as possible since the main house is visible from the deck. If you are looking for a larger area to hang out and grill the gazebo is excellent. We have more seating for larger groups with a grill and fireplace. If you are from a city, you will be pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous night sky.
BATHROOM
One bathroom closed off with a spacious shower and front load washer and dryer. We supply a hairdryer, extra towels, extra linens, and toiletries. Forgot a toothbrush, razor, face wipes, etc.? Don’t worry we have those for you just in case!
PETS POLICY
We are pet friendly and have no problem if you bring your fur baby along. We do charge an extra $25 a stay for one pet. When booking you will have to add that you have a pet in the area where you add the number of guests. If you have more than one pet there is an additional $10 fee per pet that will be sent after booking. It is needed for the additional cleaning time it takes when a pet is in the home! We also let our pet owners know that we have three inside labs in the main house. There are pictures and descriptions about our good boys if you would like to see at the end of the pictures. When we let them out we keep them on the front side of the property and keep an eye on them. We ask that you do the same and keep your fur babies on the back side of the property. It is 2 acres so there is plenty of room for everyone to run and play!
House Rules
- Please be courteous of neighbors and noise after midnight.
- Please do not sit on the back of the couch it does bend easily. If broken there will be a $600 replacement fee.
- No children under 8 in loft unattended. Gaps in railing can be dangerous for small children
